Blue Star Pacific has been awarded the contract for FV No. 1 Stage 2 from its client, Icon Constructions. FV No 1 Stage 2 consists of 267 residential units and 70 short term accommodation (hotel style) units located in a single tower located over 26 stories over the top of two story basement car parking. This building is set to become a new architectural landmark for Brisbane. Blue Star Pacific also completed the electrical design and installation at FV Flat Iron & Valley House (Stage 1).
ARIA Property Group’s South Brisbane project, Botanica Residences, has won the Urban Development Institute President’s Award, making it the best of the best of around 500 projects across the country. The project has 179 apartments across 20 levels, and some of the best green credentials around including Enviro-Development accreditation from the UDIA, having achieved the full 6 leaf certification. Blue Star Pacific was engaged by its client, PBS Building, to complete the innovative electrical design and installation for the project, which also won them the 2016 NECA Queensland Excellence Award for Commercial Medium Sized Project.
Blue Star is proud to have achieved external certification against the new international standards in relation to quality (ISO 9001:2015) and the environment (ISO 14001:2015) and to be re certified against the current safety standard (AS/NZS 4801:2001)
Blue Star Pacific apprentice Damon Gabbott has received a highly commended in the commercial/domestic category of the 2016 NECA Queensland Apprentice Awards. The Apprentice Awards are highly contested with each apprentice being judged on their achievement in personal development, effort, academic attainment and workplace competency.
