On the 16th of June Blue Star’s finance and administration team attended a fun and creative evening at Brisbane’s Cork & Chroma as part of their social club activities. Cork & Chroma is an art studio that boasts a relaxed social setting where participants can take on the basic techniques of painting with acrylics on canvas. With a glass of wine in one hand and a paintbrush in the other, the night was destined for greatness!
“Drink. Paint. Just don’t drink the paint.”
The evening was led by one of Cork & Chroma artists who gave step by step instructions and plenty of room for the Blue Star staff to add their own personalised touches. By the end of the night, even the self-proclaimed “non creatives” were able to create a 40x50cm masterpiece to take home. Our amazing artworks showcase that there is an artist in all of us, but it was the great company and laughter that made the night most memorable!
