Signature Apartments located in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast is starting to take shape. The jumpform was recently completed and the basement decks are currently in progress. It won’t be long until the project is coming out of the ground with the last basement deck nearing completion.

Earlier this year Blue Star Pacific was awarded the D&C electrical package for the Jubilee Place project located in Fortitude Valley. Blue Star Pacific will be working with Watpac Construction to deliver a 14 storey commercial office tower and public plaza while preserving the existing heritage-listed Jubilee Hotel. This development will accommodate a retail and restaurant precinct, rooftop beer garden and commercial office spaces with a focus on sustainable design and structure.
Blue Star Pacific recently completed The Coterie Apartments located in the heart of Fortitude Valley. The twin tower apartment building is a great addition to the energised urban village it belongs, while offering a modern-day sanctuary and an exclusive lifestyle for residents. The elegant building silhouette provides great connectivity between the two towers, the streetscape, and the skyscrapers in the nearby CBD. Blue Star Pacific were awarded the D&C electrical package and worked alongside Maxcon Constructions to successfully complete the project in early April
Earlier this year Blue Star Pacific was awarded the Electrical D&C package for the Inner City South State Secondary College in Dutton Park with Broad Constructions. The school includes multiple learning facilities, creative and well-being hubs, a multi-purpose hall, outdoor areas, courts, and pick up/drop off zones. ICSSSC will have a total capacity of 1600 students over 4 towers with classes for year 7 students to commence early 2021. The project is moving at a fast pace with all inground works complete and ground slabs poured throughout the site. The lift cores have raced ahead and Blue Star Pacific are currently working hard on the new suspended concrete decks.
The Ocean, at 84 The Esplanade in Broadbeach is well underway with level 17 currently in progress, and the pre-wire stage close behind on level 12.Once completed, the residents will be able to enjoy a new era of modern living, one where lifestyle, convenience
Earlier this year Blue Star Atlantic was awarded the electrical package for the Slacks Creek Greenlink. This is a new 780 metre recreational boardwalk featuring a new bridge connecting each side of the creek which leads to recreation facilities, shaded areas, seating, and bike shelters. Blue Star Atlantic are engaged to complete the lighting design, supply and installation throughout the boardwalk while working alongside Epoca Constructions.
With winter now upon our doorstep (normally a lot earlier in Tasmania than Queensland) it is nice to know that both buildings are now “topped out”. Our team are now inside the buildings pre-wiring the student accommodation spaces. Fitting off has commenced on the lower levels, and the electrical “heart” (being the main switchboard) is being installed this month – a major milestone for any electrical contractor and we thank our local manufacturers for maintaining the program during these unprecedented times. May also seen another two local electricians join the Blue Star team to assist us in continuing to complete the project ahead of program.
