Well what a project this has been to be involved with! Working closely with Hutchinson Builders we have together, along with all trades, been able to build a place which will be known in Brisbane as the new meeting place. Situated under the Story Bridge the location is filled with new restaurants, bars, a bespoke brewery, convention center, function rooms, 300+ space basement carpark, park lands and in the first quarter of next year, a 166 room Art Series Hotel. This will really join Brisbane City to Fortitude Valley and add an extra feature on the morning run/walk/riding trail.
Our onsite team worked closely with multiple stakeholders and designers to ensure that all aspects of their requirements were met including working with heritage listed buildings. There are function rooms still under construction that will only add to the appeal of this location. We have had a tight timeline to work to, with sections of this project recently being opened to the public and with Christmas parties and daily functions already booked, the onsite team ensured that all activities were able to proceed as scheduled.
